The PiroDistilGasogeno – Pyrolizer Gasifier

The “Pyrolyzer Gasifier” is an implant which is the result of extensive and energetic research.

Its unprecedented uniqueness and innovativeness have allowed the patenting, owned by Piromak TD Ltd, the enterprise which invented the implant. Its basic function is represented by the gasification capacity of organic waste, such as biomass (wood, shrubs, vegetable fibers, dried organic sludge, grape seed, plant residues from industrial changes, dried undergrowth layer, dried animal dung, slaughter wastes, yarns, leather, etc.), rubber (scrap tires), various plastics, polyethylene, fluff, etc.

What it is and what it is obtained by gasification.

The gasification consists of dry distilling the above products, or other types of materials at high temperatures, in order to obtain a gas mixture also called Syngas or Synthetic Gas (CH4 + CO + H2-CO2) with a heating power from 5-8000 kcal/m3, basically comparable to CH4 (methane).

This procedure also allows to obtain a decent amount of methyl alcohol like (CH3OH) comparable to unleaded petrol.

At the end of the process we will be able to obtain a carbonaceous compound similar to the charcoal obtained from wood, that according to the type of the gasified material will have the inherent characteristics.

The main characteristic of the obtained compound is its excellent fuel properties, since it is carbon for 90-98%.

In the majority of cases it becomes active coal and therefore can be marketed as such obtaining a high intake.

Alternatively, if you do not want to commercialize it or use it for one of its various applications, it may be used as fuel for the process.

  • Syngas – Hydrogen based with LCV – Lower Calorific Value 7-10.000 Kcal/Kg).

  • Synoil (very flowing, without sulfur, with LCV 8-10.000 Kcal/Kg).

  • Coal (94% pure, also known as structural carbon).

  • If PDG process vegetables biomass, the resulting coal can be used in agricultural practices and industry, or for barbecue and grill cooking.

  • If PDG process organic products containing inorganic materials, such as metals (e.g. steel is included in tires structure), aluminum (matched plastics or papers), copper (inserted in electrical wires), etc. PDG separates the inorganic parts from these organic materials (in absence of O2), resulting perfectly clean and ready to be recovered and sold with high market quality.

  • If PDG process inorganic products such as polluted grounds from organic materials, the organic parts will be converted into energetic products while the inorganic parts will be given as fireproof materials ready to be used in building industry (mixed with cement) or fire-safe industry (mixed with resins).

  • If PDG process tires to obtain high quality syngas and synoil, the output will be a high level coal (94% pure).

  • If PDG processes danger waste, such as hospital materials and/or infected materials, all the organic materials will be converted in energetic products while all the inorganic materials will be given totally clean and purified, ready to be recovered and sold.

  • All the water deriving from the PDG process (humidity present in processed materials) can be used directly in agricultural practices and industry (irrigation in field or in greenhouse) or, after the purifying and the mineralizing process, can be bottled and sold as pure drinkable water.

With energetic products obtained by PDG materials processing (syngas and synoil) it is possible to produce, in co-generation way, electric green-energy and thermal green-energy feeding a gas/biofuel power engine linked to an high performing alternator.

Each ton of organic material processed by PDG technology produces, on average, 1 MWh of electric green-energy + 1,3 MWh of thermal green-energy.

Synoil produced by PDG materials processing can be used in diesel power engine or more refined to produce biofuels such as diesel fuel, petrol, kerosene, etc.

Thermal green-energy produced by PDG materials processing can be used for heating (houses, schools, hospitals, swimming pools, hotels, factories, etc.) and cooling the same buildings. It absorbing plants, for drying every kind of materials (fruits, vegetables, building-wood, burning-wood, pellets, etc.), for cooking (food industry), for freeze (cold industry), for purifying polluted water, for producing drinkable water.

Thermal green-energy produced by PDG materials processing can be used for:

  • Heating (houses, schools, hospitals, swimming pools, hotels, factories, etc.)

  • Cooling the same buildings

  • For drying every kind of materials (fruits, vegetables, building-wood, burning-wood, pellets, etc.)

  • For cooking (food industry) and freezing (cold industry)

  • For purifying polluted water

  • For producing drinkable water.

In addition to the Pyrolizer Gasifier, the standard system includes various other machines, depending on requirements, which are suitable for the preparation of the materials upstream of the process, as well as the ad-hoc processing and transformation of the raw materials obtained from the process.

The following are some of the machine components:

  1. Turbo alembic: used in the process for separating gases from saturated hydrocarbons (liquids and solids such as tar and H2O are separated at a later time).

  2. Gas refiner: this machine is used to clean the gases. It removes all the particulate and micro dust, as well as a substantial part of the sulphur contained within them, and makes them suitable for use in internal combustion engines.

  3. Compressor: used to move the gases and pump them into a storage tank.

  4. Liquids and solids Separator: this machine is used to separate CH3OH from tar and from H2O and to channel each into its own container.

  5. CH3OH refiner: used to make petrol suitable for use.

  6. BCS gasifier engine module: used to produce thermal energy for the gasification process.  Its potential varies according to plant capacity.

  7. Charger for materials to be gasified.

  8. Loader for engine: the engine (BCS) can also work with materials other than the materials to be gasified.
